Our company offers the service of making live caricatures or portraits during - fairs, weddings, integration events, kindergarten events, school events/balls, at St. Andrew's Day parties, during Christmas Eve corporate events, during corporate/school picnics. Why haven't you heard about drawing caricatures at parties or weddings before?

In a country as large as Poland, only about 4-5 people can professionally make a live caricature. Although there is no shortage of caricaturists' offers on the Internet, most of them can only draw from photos. Choosing the wrong caricaturist can ruin the fun. How to check a caricaturist? It is best for the bride and groom to make an appointment with the chosen cartoonist at his studio and order a live caricature. It's better to order one drawing and be sure that you've come to a professional.

Where is drawing caricatures popular?

Such a form of entertainment as wedding attraction, such as drawing caricatures, is very popular in Great Britain, Ireland, Germany, France, the USA. Caricaturists can be found on the main promenades in cities or tourist towns, in the mountains or by the sea. There used to be more caricaturists and portraitists on the streets of Krakow. The artists created a unique atmosphere that attracted residents and tourists. Since 2000, the Krakow authorities have effectively removed caricaturists and other street artists from the city center. Sometimes it happens that someone draws but only until the first inspection by the city guard, who issues a ticket for "trading in the cultural park zone"(!!!!).

How quickly are caricatures created?

We are able to draw up to 8 people in an hour, depending on whether the person is alone in the drawing or I am drawing a couple. So in 5 hours I can draw as many people as another cartoonist in 8 hours. The time of execution is also affected by whether people are waiting in a queue and whether the person is sitting alone and the others are called from a list. A caricature is made faster when more people are waiting in a queue, then the drawings come out funnier. People standing in line laugh at what the caricaturist draws and make people or the person posing laugh, who does not yet know what a caricature looks like.

Caricaturist for a wedding - will it work?

I have drawn many times at weddings and I must say that caricaturist for a wedding is a guaranteed success. The bride and groom or parents of the bride and groom ordering such a service have certain concerns, they do not know how the wedding guests or family will react, whether it will be a good time. After the first drawn drawing, people willing to draw line up, a queue forms until the wedding ceremony. At almost every wedding, the bride and groom want to extend the caricaturist's time by ordering additional hours.

Caricatures don't have to be offensive

We observe the person being drawn and choose the right style of work. We draw women more portrait-like, men a bit more funny, children drawn more in a cartoon/fairy tale style. Even though I draw caricatures, people react very positively and with laughter to the sight of their likeness. Drawings of 1 or 2 people made in pencil on a 30x40 (A3) format, I only draw the face and bust. Entire figures drawn only in orders from photos, which must be submitted by email.
